The nomination process for the Bar Association elections took place at Tonk : Deoli. In which two applications were received for the post of President, 3 for the post of Vice President and only one for the post of Secretary. In such a situation, candidate Prateek Jain was declared secretary unopposed. Election in-charge Arvind Dadhich and Paras Kumar Jain said that applications of Sanwariya Bairagi and Ramdhan Chaudhary have been received for the post of president. Similarly, applications from Bhavna Jain, Zorawar Singh Meena, Ranjit Bairwa have been received for the post of Vice President.
Whereas only one application from candidate Prateek Jain was received for the post of Secretary. On which Prateek Jain was declared secretary unopposed. Chetan Prakash Verma’s application was received for the post of Treasurer. But under the election rules, the application for the post of Treasurer was rejected as the post did not exist. Whereas no other remaining applications were received. The election officer said that the applications will be scrutinized on Tuesday, December 10. After this, names can be withdrawn till December 11. After which the final publication will be made. Bar Association elections will be held on December 13 from 11 am to 3 pm.
