The previous government had announced the distribution of scooters to these girls, but this distribution has not been done yet. Meanwhile, the BJP government has announced the date of the distribution ceremony of 3,695 scooties for the session 2023-24 in colleges across the state.
Due to this, there is disappointment among the girls for the session 2022-23. They are waiting for their rightful scooter, but no concrete steps have been taken yet by the government. Scooties are to be provided to 370 girl students of Sri Ganganagar and Anupgarh districts for the session 2023-24 on December 14. Surprisingly, 2024 is about to end and 168 scooties from both the districts are being scrapped in the hall of Godara College. According to sources, the work of distribution of these scooties is stuck due to technical reasons. Due to the laxity of the Commissionerate, the girls who have reached the final year have not yet received the scooty. Let us tell you that daughters are to get these scooties under the Kali Bai Bhil Scooty Scheme. According to nodal officer Manoj Bajaj, after the distribution of 370 scooties for the 2023-24 session, the work of distribution of 168 scooties can start. These scooties for the session 2023-24 will soon reach the colleges. Preparations are being made to organize district level programs separately. This event is being organized for the first time during the tenure of the BJP government. In view of this, the Commissionerate is being very cautious. On Thursday, Commissioner OP Bairwa held video conferencing with nodal officers of colleges across the state regarding preparations for the event. According to departmental sources, the scooties belong to two big renowned companies. These have reached the dealers in the respective districts. Now from here they will be sent to the places indicated by the colleges. According to the information, a letter has been sent to the principals of all the colleges.
It said that the scooties for the year 2023-24 are to be distributed through a state level program by the Chief Minister on December 14. Scooties have been parked in the college hall. Due to this, the routine programs held in the college are also being affected. Reached the finals after applying in the first year, out of 358 girls who applied in 2021-22 and 2022-23, so far 190 girls have been allotted scooties, while 168 girls are still eagerly waiting for the scooties. But now many girls have passed the final year and many are in the final year.
