Preparation to make service rules for paramedical staff working in Jaipur hospitals

Jaipur : Jaipur: First BJP, then Congress and now even after BJP coming to power, despite doing paramedical course, unemployed youth are not able to get government jobs due to non-formulation of service rules. Courses like Operation Theatre, Dialysis, Orthopedics Technician, Blood Bank Technician, Endoscopy Technician, EEG, Cath Lab, Cardiac Instrument and Audiometric Technician, Emergency and Traumacare, Perfusionist etc. are being conducted by Rajasthan Paramedical Council, formed in the year 2015. But due to non-formulation of service rules and non-creation of posts in hospitals, the way for recruitment is not opening. However, now the Paramedical Council has been replaced by the State Allied and Health Care Council. Following the orders of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Medical Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar, the officials of the Medical and Health Department have held a meeting on the instructions of making service rules of paramedical and sent the file to the Finance Department.

Three thousand students are studying paramedical
In the present situation, due to the formation of service rules for four types of paramedical courses, government jobs are available only in Medical Lab Technician, Radiation Technology, Ophthalmic Assistant ECG Technician. There are three thousand students studying in various types of paramedical courses in recognized institutions. At the same time, maximum one thousand OT technicians have got themselves registered with the State Allied Health Care Council. Apart from this, more than one thousand blood bank technicians, cath lab technicians etc. are registered. Registration in their courses may also reduce due to non-availability of government jobs.

There is no mention of designation in the service rules made in 1965.

The designation of Paramedical is not mentioned in the service rules made in the year 1965. Those doing different courses in divisional headquarters and district hospitals are facing problems regarding work responsibilities, changes in rules, grade pay, promotion, creation of how many posts as per rules, etc., but the service from the Medical and Health Department is being provided. The work of making rules is in the final stage. Answers have also been given to the questions asked by the Finance and Personnel Department. Now it is expected that service rules will be made soon. “The process of making service rules for paramedical in the government colleges of the state is going on. Some answers have been sought from the department. It is expected that the service rules will be made soon. After the creation of new posts, the youth of the state will get government jobs. Will be possible. Continuous efforts are being made in this direction.
