Prayagraj, 29 November (IANS). Preparations for Mahakumbh 2025 are in full swing in Prayagraj, the city of faith, Uttar Pradesh. On Friday, Kinnar Akhara performed Bhoomi Pujan for Mahakumbh on the banks of Ganga here. Also, the saints of this Akhara invoked the Gods and Goddesses and wished for its successful completion.
Mahamandaleshwar Kaushalya Nand Giri of Kinnar Akhara told IANS, “Today we all have participated in the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony of Kinnar Akhara as per the rituals. The season of Kinnar Akhara will also start from today. Just like in 2019, Kinnar Akhara will be the center of attraction. Similarly, our Kinnar Akhara will be a major attraction in 2025. Our Akhara has always been promoting Sanatan Dharma and social issues. This time we will give the status of saints to the Kinnar sisters from India and abroad. Apart from this, Deepmalaika and grand decorations will also be done in the Kinnar Akhara. Our Kinnar Akhara will start the season with great fanfare this time too, and you will be happy to see it.”
He further said, “Our Kinnar Akhara will start a new initiative this time as “Plastic-Free Kumbh”. We are working towards making this Kumbh clean and divine, so that India can become a symbol of cleanliness in the whole world. It should be considered a symbol that both the Central and State Governments are fully engaged in this work, so that the Kumbh of 2025 will be more grand and divine, so that the message of environmental protection will be used in place of plastic. Reach out to the world. We want to show how hard we are working for cleanliness in India.”
Mahamandaleshwar Anand Giri said, “This occasion of Bhoomi Pujan is very pleasant for us, because for six years we were waiting for when our Maha Kumbh event would start. There were some shortcomings in our Kumbh event in the year 2019, but this time we We will remove all those shortcomings and we will get them in full from the huge space given to our Akhara this time. It will be most divine and grand in Prayagraj.”
He further added, “Our Indian eunuch community as well as many transgenders, eunuchs, and the entire LGBTQ community from abroad will be joining our Akhara this time, and this will be a new beginning – for the country and for Sanatan Dharma. This time the number of Pattabhishek will also be very high, because everyone wants to join Sanatan Dharma. Therefore, after 13th January, when the first place will be over, our The process of Pattabhishek will begin. We expect 30 to 35 people to perform Pattabhishek on this occasion.
