Prepare for Jaipur Youth Festival or exams, teachers and children worried

Jaipur : Jaipur The controversy regarding conducting the half-yearly examination during winter vacation had just subsided but now a new controversy has arisen regarding this examination. The dates of the one-day youth festival organized by the Rajasthan Youth Board and the half-yearly examination of the education department are clashing with each other. Due to this, teachers and students are facing a dilemma as to what to do. Teachers should make children prepare for the Youth Festival or children should prepare for half-yearly examinations. Youth between 15 years to 29 years are being registered for this festival.

Schools should aim to register at least 20 children.

All CBEO offices in Jaipur district have been given a target to register at least 20 children from all the senior secondary schools under them. Now children above 15 years of age study from 9th to 12th class. Their half-yearly examination will be held from December 14 to December 24, while the Youth Board has organized Block level Youth Festival from November 30 to December 10, District level Youth Festival from December 11 to December 17 and Division level Youth Festival from December 18 to December 25. The date of holding has been fixed. The festival will be held any day on these dates, but half-yearly examinations are also held on these dates. In such a situation, children are not getting registered.

On the other hand, pressure is being put repeatedly on the heads of senior schools from CBEO offices to register at least 20 children. Some principals have been put on deputation to CBEO offices to monitor the registration. Now they will conduct their school exams or youth festival. The principals engaged in this work also want to prepare for the examination in their school. Because this time for the first time the half-yearly examination is being held at the state level. They do not want to make any mistake in this.

These will be the activities

There are 4 types of activities to be held in the Youth Festival. There will be science-digital fair, cultural programs, activities related to life skills and youth work. If any youth is interested in this then he can participate in it. Due to exams, children are reluctant to participate in it. They want to prepare for the exam. Despite this, it is being said that oral registration is mandatory.
