Noida, December 10 (IANS). Apart from beautification, work of widening the road and construction of FOB will be done at the junction connecting NH-9 to Noida Sector-62 in Uttar Pradesh. Noida Authority CEO Lokesh M. gave these instructions after on-site inspection on Tuesday. He has sought a report from the officials on illegal parking in the city within 10 days.
The CEO said that the toilet coming during the widening of the road at this junction should be demolished and removed immediately. Instructions were given to construct footpath for pedestrians by increasing the width of the road at the entry road between NH-9 and Sector-62 and 63. It was asked to prepare a left turn element by leveling the empty space for vehicles entering Noida from NH-9. Along with the construction of parking, a kiosk will also be constructed in the vacant land near the metro rail. The road from Sector-63 along NH-9 will be widened up to Chhijarasi.
Instructions were given to construct parking and proper turning radius in some parts near Chhijarsi T Junction. Road widening will be done using the vacant land near Sector-62, 63 and NH-9 junction. In view of the excessive traffic, instructions were given to conduct a detailed survey of the FOB and the surrounding area and prepare proposals so that the problem of traffic jam at this junction can be resolved.
Instructions were given to prepare a planning proposal after conducting a detailed survey of the area around the Chhijarasi entry road junction from NH-9. So that the problem of traffic jam at the said junction can be resolved. Instructions were given to immediately remove encroachment, slums etc. in the green belt located along NH-9 in Sector-62. Instructions were given to develop the green belt parallel to NH-9. Instructions were given for proper cleaning of the footpaths of Sector-62 and 63.
The waterfall constructed at Sector-57 and 58 intersection will be repaired. Thermo plastic paint and zebra crossing paint work will be done on the main roads of Noida area on priority. Instructions were given to conduct a survey of illegal parking on the roads by all work circles and submit the report within 10 days. Curve stones were found fallen at the intersection of Sector-57 and 22. Instructions were given to get them repaired immediately and to level them by removing the curve stones on the banks.
CEO with OSD Mahendra Prasad, GM S.P. Singh, project engineer Gaurav Bansal and R.K. Sharma was present. On this occasion, a survey of illegal parking in the city was conducted and a report was given within 10 days.
