Presentation of Rajasthani folk music in Barmer Bhinyad Vidyalaya.

Rajasthani folk music was presented by STARK (Society for Traditional Art and Rural Culture), Bhinyad under the Repertory Grant (Guru Shishya) in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, at Barmer : Government Higher Secondary School, Bhinyad on Thursday. In which Roze Khan Bhinyad as guru and Devu Khan as disciple performed Khadtal, Bhutta Khan performed Dholak and Sukhdev performed Rajasthani song Ghoraliyan. Roze Khan, who was teaching as a guru in Repertory Grant, introduced the children to the folk music and musical instruments of Rajasthan.

Secretary Deen Mohammad gave information about the folk songs and folk musical instruments of Rajasthan. Principal Khangaram said that this is a good program to preserve the folk art and cultural heritage of our country, which will provide good inspiration to the students of the school. Stark Society organizes cultural programs every year in collaboration with the Government of India. This will help in preserving the folk art and culture of our country.
