President Draupadi Murmu honored two teachers of Rajasthan, Baljinder Singh and Hukam Chand

Jaipur : Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country on Thursday. During this, many types of programs were organized in schools and other educational institutions. On Teachers’ Day, President Draupadi Murmu honored selected teachers from across the country with the National Teacher Award 2024 in the capital Delhi. Two teachers from Rajasthan were also honored in this. The two teachers who received the National Teacher Award 2024 from Rajasthan are Baljinder Singh Brar, Hukam Chand Chaudhary. Both of them received the honor from His Excellency on Thursday in Delhi.

The program took place at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi

In fact, on the occasion of National Teachers’ Day, President Draupadi Murmu honored selected teachers from across the country with the National Teacher Award 2024 at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi. Two teachers from Rajasthan also received the honor among the 50 teachers selected through the Department of School Education and Literacy of the Ministry of Education.

Two teachers from Sri Ganganagar and Bikaner received honor

Teachers from Rajasthan who received the National Teacher Award include Baljinder Singh Brar, Vice Principal, Government Senior Secondary School, 4JJ, Block Padampur, District Sri Ganganagar and Mr. Hukam Chand Chaudhary, Teacher, Government Senior Secondary School, BSF, Bikaner.

Teachers are honored on Teachers’ Day

It is noteworthy that every year on 5th September, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’s birth anniversary is celebrated as National Teachers’ Day at the national level. The purpose of the National Teachers’ Awards given on this occasion is to celebrate the unique contribution of teachers in the country and to honour those teachers.

50 thousand cash and a silver medal was received

This award is given to those teachers who through their commitment and dedication have not only improved the quality of education but also enriched the lives of their students. The winners of the National Teacher Award are given a certificate of merit, a cash prize of ₹ 50000 and a silver medal.
