Jaipur : President Draupadi Murmu is on a Rajasthan tour on Wednesday 18 September. During the day she will attend the convocation of Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) in Jaipur. She will take a group photo with the gold medalist students at MNIT and will also deliver her address. She will leave for Indore at four in the evening. After attending the convocation, she will also go to the Raj Bhavan located in C-Scheme where she will meet Governor Haribhau Bagde, where she will pay a courtesy visit and also discuss various important topics. Special preparations have been made by the police and administration for the visit of the Governor.
President visits Rajasthan again after 6 months
President Draupadi Murmu is visiting Rajasthan once again after six months. Earlier, she came to Jaipur on 13 February and stayed overnight at the Raj Bhavan. On 14 February, she visited Mehandipur Balaji and then attended the Lakhpati Didi program organized at Beneshwar Dham in Dungarpur. Now, after six months, she is visiting Rajasthan again. Governor Haribhau Bagde and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will welcome her at Jaipur Airport. During this, other representatives including both Deputy CMs may also be present.

President Draupadi Murmu will reach Jaipur airport at 10:30 am, where Governor Haribhau Bagde and CM Bhajanlal Sharma will receive her.
She will attend the 18th convocation of MNIT located in Malviya Nagar at 11:00 am. The Governor and the Chief Minister will also be present at the ceremony.
She will leave from MNIT around 1:00 pm and reach Raj Bhavan, where she will have a courtesy call on the Governor and also discuss important issues.
At 4:00 pm she will leave from Raj Bhavan for Jaipur airport. She will fly from Jaipur to Indore.
Police made tight security arrangements
The police have made elaborate security arrangements for the President’s visit. Security was also reviewed by conducting a rehearsal a day before. Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph said that more than a thousand security personnel, including 8 IPS, will be deployed. Both the Additional Police Commissioners of Jaipur Commissionerate, 7 DCPs, 8 Additional DCPs and all the police station in-charges have also been deployed for security arrangements.
