New Delhi, November 19 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Brazil to attend the Rio G20 summit, where he was given a warm welcome. In Brazil, PM Modi interacted with many prominent leaders of the world and discussed many important topics. PM Modi described these meetings as important on his social media platform X.
PM Modi met South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol at the G20 summit. Regarding this meeting, PM Modi wrote on Instagram, “I communicated with South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol during the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro.” PM Modi described this dialogue as pleasant and meaningful.
Along with this, PM Modi also met European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. Expressing his resolve to further strengthen India’s relations with the European Union, Prime Minister Modi said that India and the European Union will continue to work together for the global good.
Prime Minister Modi also spoke to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi on the Rio G20 summit. Describing this meeting as very wonderful, PM Modi stressed the need to further strengthen India’s relations with Egypt.
Apart from this, Prime Minister Modi also met Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni. Regarding this meeting, Prime Minister Modi wrote on Twitter, “Met Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni during the Rio G20 Summit. The main focus of our conversation was on promoting cooperation in areas like defence, security, trade and technology. We both “Also discussed how cooperation can be enhanced in cultural, educational and other similar areas.” Prime Minister Modi further wrote, “The friendship between India and Italy can help in bringing positive change at the global level.”
