Bhopal 15 November (IANS). On the occasion of the birth anniversary of tribal community leader Birsa Munda, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gifted two tribal museums to Madhya Pradesh. Prime Minister Modi dedicated the museums of Jabalpur and Chhindwara to the nation.
Prime Minister Modi, who connected virtually from Jamui, inaugurated Shri Badal Bhoi Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum of Bihar and Chhindwara and Raja Shankar Shah and Raghunath Shah Freedom Fighters Museum of Jabalpur. On this occasion, Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla and public representatives and a large number of people from the tribal community participated from Shahdol.
Bhoomi pujan and inauguration of 76 different development works costing Rs 229.66 crore was done in the state level program organized in Shahdol on Tribal Pride Day.
On this occasion, colorful programs were presented by artists from the tribal community. People from the tribal community came in large numbers and became participants in this event.
State Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi on behalf of all the people of the state for gifting two Tribal Freedom Fighters Museums to Madhya Pradesh including Jabalpur and Chhindwara.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that for the first time in the country after independence, Prime Minister Modi launched a campaign to honor the tribals and bring their glorious history before the country. 15th November is the day for the tribals to celebrate their pride in the true sense. Prime Minister Modi has given this opportunity.
Tribal Pride Day is being celebrated as a festival in the entire state. Various programs are taking place. Apart from Shahdol, the main program is being held in Dhar. This event is also popular in rural areas.
