Jodhpur : Jodhpur Just 10 days ago, a prisoner had been sentenced to 20 years under the POCSO Act, on this he tried to escape from the Central Jail at 5 in the morning while going for langar work but could not succeed and was caught. The prisoner made a rope from a blanket and towel and climbed the wall, jumped between two towers, but was caught. The prisoner was caught before he could leave the jail premises. The jail administration has registered a case against him in the Ratanada police station. The prisoner committed this crime when he was brought out to work in the loungery at 5 in the morning. Then the prisoners were counted, in which one prisoner was found less. Then the jail administration hurriedly launched a search operation. He was caught from the jail premises itself during the search. Ratanada police has handed over the investigation to head constable Dharmaram.
Ratanada police station in-charge SI Bhanwar Singh said that the Deputy Superintendent of Jodhpur Central Jail gave the report. It was told that the prisoner Mahendraram, son of Zoraram alias Goraram, resident of Ramawas Kalan, Jaitaran, Beawar, was sentenced to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment in the POCSO Act case only 10 days ago. After this he was sent to Jodhpur Central Jail. On its 11th day, convicted prisoner Mahendraram along with other 43 prisoners was brought to Langri for work at 5 am on Saturday. Where one prisoner was found less in the count. Then the jail administration checked the CCTV cameras. In which the prisoner was seen climbing the main wall and jumping between tower numbers one and two. Then the convicted prisoner was caught and put back in jail.
To prepare food for the prisoners at 5 am on Saturday, guard Ghevarram, hospital duty guard Sawai Ram, Langar QT guard Laxman Ram counted the punished prisoners detained in barrack number 01 of ward number 12 and sent 44 prisoners to the langar. All the prisoners were working in the langar. Meanwhile, the anchor duty guard found one prisoner less. He then informed the in-charge about it. And got all Langri prisoners counted. Only 43 prisoners were found in it. Then the Chhatri guard informed the entire jail administration about the shortage of one prisoner. As soon as the alert message was received, RAC employee Jaidev Singh, posted at tower number 5, saw a suspicious person roaming between tower numbers 5 and 6 in the jail premises. He was caught and immediately informed the higher authorities.

According to the information, in the POCSO case, the Special Judge POCSO Act No. 02 sentenced the convicted prisoner Mahendraram son of Zoraram alias Goraram, resident of Ramawas Kalan, Jaitaran, Beawar, to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment on November 12, 60 thousand rupees fine or 6 months imprisonment. Was heard. The accused was admitted to the Central Jail on 13 November. On 23 November the condemned prisoner attempted to escape from the Central Jail.
