Private and roadways buses will run together here in Rajasthan, passengers will get relief

Jaipur : A meeting was held on Wednesday between Transport, JCTSL, bus operators and others to start the Heerapura Bus Terminal, built near the 200 feet intersection on Ajmer Road in the capital Jaipur. It was decided at the meeting to start the terminal from September 1. Buses going towards Ajmer Road will operate from the terminal. Roadways will operate 25 percent of the buses plying on this route from the terminal. Buses going towards Ajmer Road will stop here. Booking counters will be set up. Around 50 private buses will run. At the same time, bus operators have demanded in the meeting that a fee of Rs 50 should be kept for operating stage carriage buses.

Apart from this, a survey of city and suburban routes should also be conducted. Here, the process of identifying bus stands (stops) to connect the surrounding areas will be completed. JCTSL, private mini buses and e-rickshaws will be operated from the terminal so that passengers can avail public transport services as soon as they get off the buses.
