Priyanka Chaturvedi reacted on checking of Uddhav Thackeray’s helicopter, said- ‘Will have to answer’

Mumbai, November 12 (IANS). The helicopter of Shiv Sena (UBT) President and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray was checked again by Election Commission employees on Tuesday. Uddhav Thackeray had reached Osmanabad to campaign on Ausa seat. When his helicopter landed, the Election Commission team reached there and checked his helicopter.

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Priyanka Chaturvedi reacted to this. While talking to IANS, Priyanka Chaturvedi said that the investigation done on Uddhav Thackeray’s helicopter has been done wrong. They will have to answer for the dishonesty that the Election Commission is doing. If Uddhav Thackeray’s helicopter should be investigated then PM Modi’s helicopter should also be investigated. The helicopters of Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis should also be checked, helicopters of all the leaders should be checked.

According to the report, sources associated with the Election Commission reacted to the political controversy over the investigation into Uddhav Thackeray’s helicopter. According to Election Commission sources, vehicles and luggage of top leaders of various political parties have been being checked as per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). In the last elections, the helicopters of Bharatiya Janata Party national president JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah were also checked.

Let us tell you that earlier on Monday, Election Commission employees had checked Uddhav Thackeray’s bag and helicopter in Yavatmal district. After this, political reactions started coming. Now on Tuesday also the Election Commission team checked Uddhav’s helicopter.

Let us tell you that there is a close contest between Mahayuti and Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) in the Maharashtra Assembly elections 2024. Voting for all 288 assembly seats in the state will be held in a single phase on November 20 and the results will be declared on November 23.
