Process of land allotment to Udaipur Airport, public hearing to be held for two days

Udaipur : Action is being taken to acquire private land in the surrounding area to allot additional 145 acres of land to the Airport Authority of India for the proposed development and expansion of Udaipur Airport. Mavli SDM Ramesh Seervi said that the affected A two-day public hearing will be organized for the stakeholders/account holders of the area from December 19. He said that the affected areas are Revenue Village Dabok of Mavli Tehsil, 126.1010 acres included in this land for allotment of additional 145 acres of land to the Airport Authority of India for the development and expansion of Udaipur Airport in the public interest of the Bilanam and Khatedari land of revenue village Toos Dangian, Rawatpura, Toos and Mandesar of Ghanoli, Vallabhnagar tehsil. Private land is being acquired.

He told that as per the Act, the hearing is being organized under the social impact effect for land acquisition as per the Act for Fair Redress and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement. A public hearing will be held from 3 pm on 19th December in Gram Panchayat Dabok in which Gram Panchayat will be present. Affected stakeholders/account holders of Dabok and Ghanoli will be able to participate on Friday, December 20 from 3 pm onwards in Gram Panchayat Tus Dangian, Tus Dangian, Rawatpura, Affected stakeholders/account holders of Tus, Mandesar will be included.
