Banswara : Shri Lakshminarayan Mahayagya and Bhagwat Katha Mahotsav will start from today in Banswara city. Under this, Bhagwat Katha will be narrated from 1 pm to 5 pm every day from 21st to 27th November. In this, Shrimad Jagadguru Dwaracharya Agramalukpeethadhishwar Swami Rajendradas will narrate the story.
Before this, on the first day of the inauguration of the festival, on 20th November, at 2 pm, a huge and grand procession will start from the Siddhanath Mahadev Temple located in Kushalbagh, which will pass through the main roads of the city and will end after reaching Lalivav Math. It will include saints, akharas, bhajan groups, Kalash Yatra, tableaus etc. and thousands of devotees will participate.
Along with the daily review meeting of the key officials of the organizing committee at Lalivav Math, invitation travel campaign regarding the festival in various villages and cities and programs of contact and dialogue with various societies, organizations and institutions were also carried out as part of the campaign.
Lalivav Peethadhishwar Mahamandaleshwar Mahant Hariomdas Maharaj said – In this religious festival being organized for the first time in the history of Banswara, 108 original verses of Bhagwat will be recited by scholars coming from Vrindavan and different parts of the country.
Under this, throughout the week, 18 thousand mantra verses of Bhagwat will be recited 108 times by scholars in melodious voices in divine Sanskrit. According to this, the sequence of repetition of total 19 lakh 44 thousand mantra verses of 108 Bhagwat lessons will be completed for seven days.
After this, a huge ritual of Yagyacharana will be seen in 108 Havankunds with the mantras of the tenth canto of Bhagwat. Widespread enthusiasm is being seen among the devotees for taking Bhagwat Pothi for Bhagwat Mool Parayan.
