Prayagraj, December 3 (IANS). Officials of various Hindu organizations along with Vishwa Hindu Parishad protested in front of Prayagraj District Panchayat office in protest against the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh. During this, hundreds of people demonstrated and raised slogans.

Officials of Hindu organizations appealed to Hindus to leave casteism and unite. He said that if atrocities on Hindus continue in this manner, the Hindu organization will not tolerate it. Along with this, the Central Government was requested to take strict steps regarding the safety of Hindus living in Bangladesh.

A person involved in the protest says that we are raising our voice against the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh. The situation there is worrying. The way Chinmoy Das was arrested is wrong. He should be released. Our temples are being attacked. Women are being harassed. The employment of the people of Hindu community there is being snatched away. The Government of India should intervene in this matter. The Hindu society of India stands with the Hindus of Bangladesh.

On the other hand, protest from Hindu organizations was also seen in the national capital Delhi on Tuesday regarding the atrocities on minority Hindus in the neighboring country Bangladesh.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Delhi Province President Kapil Khanna said that everyone is aware of the situation in Bangladesh. Since 1947, whenever any incident happens there, Hindus are persecuted. Now the situation has become even more frightening and our religious places are being demolished. Hindus are being tortured. Instead of providing security to the saints, they are being put in jail. Putting him in jail is very condemnable. Our demand is from the United Nations and the Government of Bangladesh to provide security to all Hindus.

It is noteworthy that many people of Hindu community have also been hit by the ongoing violence during the coup attempt in Bangladesh. ISKCON’s Chinmoy Krishna Das Prabhu has been arrested for protesting against this.
