Protest against police brutality in Ajmer Tonk district, demand for judicial inquiry

Ajmer : Ajmer Meena Development and Research Institute, Ajmer demonstrated at the Collectorate on Wednesday. After protesting, the Collector submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister. By submitting a memorandum, a demand was made to conduct a judicial inquiry against the brutality done by the police towards the citizens in Samravata village of Tonk district.

President of Meena Development and Research Institute, Ajmer, Ramnath Meena, said in a memorandum addressed to Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma – On the night of 13 November, police brutalized the citizens of Samravata village of Tonk district. They entered the houses and beat people with sticks, causing serious injuries. Their property was damaged. The President said- A memorandum was given by protesting against police brutality today. By submitting a memorandum, a demand has been made to conduct a judicial inquiry into the matter and take strict action against the guilty administration and police officers. Along with this, a demand has also been made from the government to compensate the loss caused to the villagers. A warning has been given of agitation if the demands are not met.
