Karauli : Karauli The local people are facing a lot of trouble due to the mining crushers running around Manch village and heavy vehicles passing through the farmers’ land. Regarding the problem, villagers of village Manch of Karauli Panchayat Samiti protested on Monday evening on the main road going from the main bus stand towards Patoli. Demanded the administration to solve the problem of pollution and roads caused by crushers. Villagers like Ramlakhan Meena, Bhura Meena, Ramkesh Meena, Shivprasad Pujari, Balgovind Pujari etc. told that many people have land owned by them on this route. Those who have voluntarily given way for traffic, but the crusher operators have spoiled the entire road. Big vehicles keep passing. No account holder has been given compensation for this.
The villagers said that they will not allow the crusher operators to pass through their land for vehicles and other activities. This path is only for pedestrians, motorcyclists etc. Villagers told that the main road going from Manch village to Patoli village is passing through the land owned by the villagers. Earlier also the district administration was informed about the measurement of this land and the demand for compensation, but no hearing is taking place. In such a situation, the villagers demanded to solve the problem by blocking the road. People from half a dozen villages are connected through this road of about ten kilometers. People faced problems in transportation after the villagers blocked the road. Villages like Patoli, Saipur, Raghuvanshi, Dalilpur, Makanpur, Mandhai etc. were cut off. Besides, the vehicles of the crushers running in Manch village could not even reach. People have to take a long detour to reach Gangapur City Karauli through another route.
