Sikar : People of Ward 41 protested against the water supply department regarding water shortage. The people of the colony say that there is a shortage of water in the ward for the last one week, whereas they have already demonstrated and protested for water. Despite being informed, the officials of the water supply department are not listening. The officials only assure to look into the opportunity, but the problem is not being solved.
Here, there is shortage of drinking water in Vinayak Vatika residential colony located near Todi Nagar. Mukesh Soni of Vinayak Vatika Vikas Samiti said that since the tube well of the colony is more than 20 years old, its water level has gone down considerably. Due to this, there is no water supply in the colony for the last 5 months. This has created a water problem. Colony residents are forced to order 4 to 5 tankers of water every month.
