At the same time, in view of the protest, the police released all the arrested farmers. Dharmendra Pradhan of BKU arrived here first, followed by Sukhveer Khalifa and other farmer leaders. After this, it was decided in the Panchayat that the strike would start from the same place where it ended. Farmers will go to Delhi and stay.
A high power committee was formed to resolve the problems of the farmers. This committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary, Housing and Industrial Development, Anil Kumar Sagar. In which there are four members apart from him. Special Secretary Housing and Industrial Development Piyush Verma, Additional Chief Executive Officer of Noida Authority Sanjay Khatri, Additional Chief Executive Officer of Greater Noida Authority Soumya Srivastava, Additional Chief Executive Officer of Yamuna Development Authority Kapil Singh have also been made members. Chaudhary Gaurav Tikait, national president of the youth wing of Bharatiya Kisan Union, has taken charge of the farmers’ panchayat going on in Noida. While addressing the Uttar Pradesh government, he has said that by torturing innocent farmers, your image along with your government is getting tarnished. Children and youth of unhappy farmers are becoming directionless. Delhi is close, will we have to travel to Lucknow also? Innocent farmers were illegally picked up from the protest and thrown into jail. This much dictatorship is not right.
