Jammu, December 10 (IANS). On Tuesday, various Hindu organizations united in Jammu and took out a huge rally in protest against the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh, in which thousands of people participated.
The protesters expressed strong protest against Mohammad Yunus, advisor to the interim government of Bangladesh. Saint community, ex-servicemen and other organizations raised questions on the silence of Mohammad Yunus. He demanded that the Indian government take a tough stance on the situation in Bangladesh.
Mahamandaleshwar Nirmal Singh Swami, BJP State President Satpal Sharma, former DGP S.P. participated in the protest. Apart from Vaid, many other celebrities participated.
Mahamandaleshwar Nirmal Singh Swami told IANS, “The life of Hindus living in Bangladesh has been made difficult. The fundamentalists have made life difficult for the minorities. Hindus are being thrown out of their homes and killed. Mothers and sisters have been raped. Small children are being beaten with great cruelty and no action is being taken on this issue. That’s why we are taking out this rally.”
Satpal Sharma said, “Not only in Jammu city, but today Hindus in every part of the country are getting organized and protesting against the forces that are spoiling the environment in Bangladesh. Hindus and Muslims used to live together in Bangladesh. At the time when Bangladesh became independent. There were very few Hindus left there at that time. We want to protest against this. that India is not going to remain silent Is.”
S.P. Vaid said, “The minorities of Bangladesh, whether Hindu, Sikh, Christian, all are being killed there. They are all residents of that place. Their security should be ensured. The government there has failed to save them. If they can’t do it then an international peacekeeping force should be sent there.”
