Karauli : The matter of operation of Tehsil office in Mandrayal town is not over yet. The residents of the town demonstrated once again on Wednesday demanding that the operation of the Tehsil office be kept as it is in the town itself. Besides, the markets of the town also remained closed till noon. After this, people submitted a memorandum in the name of the Chief Minister to Tehsildar Kamal Chand Sharma. The markets of the town remained closed since morning demanding to keep the Tehsil office intact. People gathered in front of the subdivision headquarters and demonstrated by raising slogans regarding their demand. After this, in the memorandum submitted to the Chief Minister, it was said that efforts are being made to operate the Tehsil office in a new building four kilometers away from the town, which is wrong. This will stop the development of the town. The formerly functioning Tehsil office is the focal point of the town.
Here, it is easy for the people of the area including the town to reach the market and the office adjacent to the bus stand. Whereas the new building is far away from the town, where people will face problems in commuting. More time will also be spent. People alleged that during the tenure of the previous Congress government, the former minister allotted land to the Tehsil office and built a new building four kilometers away from the town. During this time, people from all sections of the society including the town, started protesting against the Tehsil office. Demanded to keep it as it is. Also warned of sitting on an indefinite strike if the problem is not resolved.

In such a situation, people who came from nearby areas to buy goods returned home disappointed. Memorandum submitted at 12 noon. After noon the shops in the market started opening and gradually the market opened completely.
