The electricity department team which had gone to remove illegal transformer in Dag area was attacked. JEN Bhupendra Singh of the Electricity Department was taking action to remove illegal transformers in Indolia Teesain field. During this time he was beaten up. Due to this, his head got injured and he got 12 stitches. He is undergoing treatment in the government hospital of Jhalawar. Angered by the incident, employees of the electricity department across the district and employees of the Power Engineers Association reached the Mini Secretariat and submitted a memorandum to the District Collector demanding the arrest of the accused. Also warned of agitation if arrest is not made within 48 hours. On this occasion, corporation engineers Shubharambh Anand, Kapil Neema, Vikram Singh Shaktawat and officials of the corporation’s engineer organization were present.
