Public fight started between Ashok Gehlot and Rajendra Rathore, corruption and officers became big issue

Jaipur : After the formation of the government in Rajasthan, a war has broken out on the social media platform X between former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and BJP government minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and former minister Rajendra Rathore over the issue of transfer of officers in the bureaucracy. Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has raised questions on the BJP government. In response, BJP leader Rajendra Rathore and minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore have cited the corruption that took place during the Congress rule and said that the investigation of the involved officers is going on and no one will be spared.

Ashok Gehlot attacked the government

Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has written on X that during our government, BJP had made several allegations against the bureaucracy of the state. BJP allies used to make baseless comments on the appointments of IAS, IPS, IFS, RAS, RPS on various posts by our government. Today, even after about 8 months of the government, the key posts running the government are occupied by the officers appointed during our government. This shows that the appointments made by our government were completely appropriate and the allegations of BJP have been proved completely wrong. Now, a state of confusion has arisen among the officers also while waiting for the transfer list, due to which the work of the public is getting affected. The government should clarify the situation that no transfer list will come in the near future so that the officers can work without any uncertainty.

Rajendra Rathore replied

Rajendra Rathore has replied to Ashok Gehlot’s poster. Rajendra Rathore wrote on X, I am surprised to know that you are concerned about the bureaucracy of the state not being transferred. During the tenure of the previous Congress government, the BJP had made allegations against the officers involved in corruption. They were based on logic and facts which are being thoroughly investigated by the BJP government and very soon appropriate action will be taken against them. You had made a very disgusting attempt to Congressize the bureaucracy but now times have changed. The loyalty of public servants is towards the government and not towards any particular person or political party. Governments change, but public servants remain the same. Their responsibility is to implement government policies. We evaluate public servants on the basis of their work, not from a political point of view.

He said, it seems from your frustrated comment that the behaviour of the officers appointed by you on high posts in the previous government is no longer favorable to you, that is why you want to get such officers transferred in the changing environment. You may be in the opposition but we respect you completely. If not publicly, you can tell us the names of such officers personally, I am sure that your legitimate demands will definitely be met.

Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore also clashed

Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore has also replied to Ashok Gehlot in his own style. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore wrote that Gehlot ji, your tweet reassured me that you are fine. You and your government know uncertainty best. In your time, even the next hour was not certain. As for corruption, scams happen only when there is shelter of leadership, you know this better than us. The BJP government believes in the policy of development and not the transfer policy. The BJP government is working on the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, considering the public as paramount, and will continue to do so in the future.
