Pulse polio campaign will run in Sikar district on December 8

Sikar : District Task Force, Vaccination meeting was organized under the chairmanship of Neemkathana Collector Sharad Mehra. The progress of pulse polio vaccination campaign, AFP surveillance, measles rubella eradication and routine vaccination to be organized in the district from December 8 was reviewed.

The Collector asked the District Education Officer to make necessary arrangements at the booth for the vaccination workers and beneficiaries even before the booth activities start in the schools on Booth Day, elder children should bring their younger brothers and sisters aged 0 to 5 to the booth and get 2 drops of polio vaccine. Instructions were given to organize rallies on the first day for administering the vaccine and for wide publicity of the campaign.
