Moscow, November 19 (IANS). Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday that Russian President Vladimir Putin may visit India soon.
“I hope that soon, very soon, we will decide on the exact dates of his (Vladimir Putin) visit. You know, our leaders will visit each other,” Peskov was quoted as saying by Russia’s leading news agency RIA Novosti. Keep visiting. So, of course, after Prime Minister Modi’s two visits to Russia, now President Putin is expected to visit India.
Peskov said, “We are looking forward to it. We will start preparing for this visit very carefully. We attach great importance to this moment. Right now I don’t have a date.”
The Presidential Press Secretary also pointed out that the Indian Prime Minister can have first-hand information about the ongoing conflict in Ukraine because of his relations with the Russian President.
Peskov said, “At least he (PM Modi) can get information directly (from the Russian President), this is very important. This gives Prime Minister Modi the opportunity to evaluate the situation objectively, and not from outside.” To succumb to the pressure of information and propaganda.”
He said this at a meeting organized by Sputnik on the topic ‘New opportunities for cooperation between Indian and Russian media: strengthening relations between the people of India and Russia’.
According to Peskov, the Russian President greatly appreciates the help of all countries, especially those with which Moscow has good relations, such as India.
The Kremlin’s press secretary said, “We really appreciate the efforts of all possible countries aimed at facilitating the resolution of the conflict in Ukraine. Especially when these efforts come from our great friends like India. In this sense “President Putin really appreciates the efforts made by Prime Minister Modi. He is grateful to Prime Minister Modi for this.”
