Jodhpur : Jodhpur Medical and Health Department, Jodhpur Rural, took action and seized a medical store and clinic in the district on Wednesday. At both the places, quacks were found practicing illegally. Chief Medical and Health Officer, Jodhpur Rural, Dr. Pratap Singh Rathore said that action was taken on the basis of complaints registered on the contact portal.
Deputy CMHO Dr. Pritam Singh Sankhla said that the medical department team inspected Khan Medical, Ansari Medical, Karni Medical and Mahadev Medical in Palasani village on the basis of complaint. The medical team and drug inspector took action as per rules and issued a warning notice to Khan Medical and Karni Medical operators. At the same time, illegal practice was being done in the clinics built near Ansari Medical and Mahadev Medical, due to which Ansari Medical and other clinics were seized. A case was registered in Dangiyawas police station by Palasani medical in-charge.Dr. Sankhala said that the department is taking action from time to time against quacks practicing illegally. The team included CMHO Dr. Rathod, Deputy CMHO Dr. Sankhla, RCHO Dr. Kunal Sahu, BCMO Luni Dr. Viranchi Acharya and Drug Controller Hema Solanki.
