Raghav Chadha raised the issue of Delhi’s law and order in Parliament, said – will raise voice from streets to Parliament

New Delhi, November 29 (IANS). Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha expressed his concern in Parliament on Friday about the deteriorating law and order situation in Delhi. He said that this is a serious issue, which has troubled the people of Delhi.

While talking to IANS, Raghav Chadha said that today we along with all our MPs in the House raised our voice against the law and order situation in Delhi which is getting worse from bad to worse. Every day new criminal incidents are coming to light in Delhi, such as bomb blasts, harassment against women, incidents of rape, theft, robbery and extortion. The people of Delhi are very worried about these incidents and their concern is continuously increasing.

Raghav Chadha further said that all these incidents are very worrying and the people of Delhi are scared of these incidents. The people of Delhi are demanding the government to take concrete steps against this increasing crime. He said that by raising this issue in Parliament today, the Aam Aadmi Party has tried to ensure that the government considers it seriously and takes immediate steps to improve law and order.

He further said that this movement will not end here. We will further intensify this movement. We will take this voice to every corner of Delhi, from the streets to the Parliament.

Earlier, Raghav Chadha has given suspension of business notice in Rajya Sabha to discuss the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh and the arrest of ISKCON priest Chinmoy Krishna Das. Aam Aadmi Party has condemned the arrest of former ISKCON priest Chinmoy Krishna Das. AAP urged the central government to hold talks with Bangladeshi authorities to ensure the safety of ISKCON devotees and the broader Hindu community in the neighboring country.

It is noteworthy that many people of Hindu community have also been hit by the ongoing violence during the coup attempt in Bangladesh. ISKCON’s Chinmoy Krishna Das Prabhu has been arrested for protesting against this.
