Foreign media house is attacking the leader of Bharatiya Janata Party, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP from Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seat of Uttar Pradesh, Rahul Gandhi regarding the ‘Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project’ (OCCRP). BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra targeted him in a press conference on Thursday. He said, Rahul Gandhi speaks only what ‘OCCRP’ writes. Both are two bodies, one soul.
BJP’s national spokesperson Sambit Patra wrote on the social media platform ‘X’ that the one who writes ‘OCCRP’ speaks Rahul Gandhi. On July 1, 2021, the Corona epidemic was going on all over the world and India had also made two of its own vaccines and India was doing Vaccine Maitri. Many countries had placed orders for the vaccine to India. At the same time, i.e. on July 1, 2021, ‘OCCRP’ published an article that Brazil had canceled the vaccine order worth $324 million. Due to this an attempt was made to tarnish the image of India.
On July 2, 2021, the Congress Party held a press conference and cornered the Government of India and the country’s vaccine. Although it was known in June that Brazil was not taking the co-vaccine, but when ‘OCCRP’ published it, then Rahul Gandhi held a press conference, that is, ‘OCCRP’ gives instructions and Rahul Gandhi follows it.
During the press conference, Sambit Patra said, due to the Covid pandemic, the time of July 1, 2021 was going very bad. India had made two of its own vaccines, one of which was a co-vaccine. Many countries placed orders for its stock, but on July 1, 2021, ‘OCCRP’ media house published an article and tried to tarnish India’s image. He published that Brazil had canceled the co-vaccine order worth $324 million. India was the only country which was befriending the vaccine and giving it without any money. But after the article of ‘OCCRP’ this vaccine was put under siege. As soon as his article was published on July 1, the next day on July 2, the Congress Party held a press conference and cornered the Government of India and the co-vaccine.
OCCRP has repeatedly attacked all the big industrialists in India. They made it appear as if fraud is going on and there is no truth in the industries here. This has been done with the aim of destabilizing India’s economy. Whenever such reports of ‘OCCRP’ came out, Rahul Gandhi held a press conference and targeted the industries of the country.
Sambit Patra further said, Pegasus report came on 18th July 2021. ‘OCCRP’ exposed this first. On July 19, 2021, Rahul Gandhi holds a press conference based on this report. All these reports come before the functioning of the House. Due to this, there was an uproar in the House and it was not allowed to continue. The situation is similar even today. On August 26, 2022, the Supreme Court of the country rejected the Pegasus report.
In July 2022, ED was interrogating the mother and son in the National Herald case. Both people were interrogated for several hours. ‘OCCRP’ published that the legal proceedings going on in the National Herald case against Rahul Gandhi are all politically motivated. There is no truth behind this. He had written, there is an atmosphere of chaos in the country, people have taken to the streets for Rahul Gandhi. It was all a lie, no one had taken to the streets. We want to ask why OCCRP was publishing articles in defense of Rahul Gandhi? If any one of Rahul Gandhi and ‘OCCRP’ has a problem, the other one speaks. These two bodies are one soul.
