Rahul Gandhi reached Jaipur, will participate in ‘Leadership Sangam Training Camp’

Jaipur, December 8 (IANS). Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi reached Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur on Sunday morning. Here he will participate in ‘Netratva Sangam Training Camp’. He was welcomed at the airport by senior Congress leader and former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasra and Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Tikaram Julie.

‘Sangam Leadership Camp’ is being organized by Congress in Jaipur.

Rahul will stay in this program for six hours. After this he will go to Khedapati Balaji. After attending this program, he will leave for Delhi at 5:25 pm.

This training camp of Congress takes place every year.

Rahul Gandhi will discuss with the workers in the context of the current ideologies of the party in the ‘Leadership Sangam Programme’. Congress leaders from Rajasthan will not be a part of this training camp. Delegates from different states will participate in the camp.

The workers participating in this program were not allowed to have mobile phones. Workers and leaders are asked to present their views as per the ideology of the party and their opinions are sought. In this programme, apart from spinning the charkha, many other activities are also done by the workers.

Congress organizes training cell camps. This program was organized two years ago at Swami Narayan Dharamshala in Mount Abu, Rajasthan. Rahul Gandhi had also participated in this program at that time. At that time only selected leaders of the party were asked to participate in this program.

Even 17 days ago, Rahul Gandhi had gone on Rajasthan tour. At that time, along with his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, he had attended the wedding of the son of Amit Goyal, a prominent tea trader from Haryana. He returned immediately after attending the wedding.
