New Delhi, November 26, (IANS). On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Constitution, Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka have greeted the countrymen. Priyanka wrote that our Constitution is the protective shield of crores of Indians.

The Constitution is a powerful tool to protect the poorest and weaker sections of the society. The stronger it is, the more powerful our country will be. Today, while paying tribute to the fighters, martyrs and every member of the Constituent Assembly who protected the spirit of the Constitution, I reiterate my resolve to protect it.”
Meanwhile, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi has remembered the contribution of the makers of the Constitution.
He wrote on Our Constitution is the protective shield of crores of Indians, which gives them all the rights. Salute to the great ancestors, revolutionaries and every member of the Constituent Assembly. This democracy and the Constitution, achieved through tireless hard work and sacrifices, is our pride. Let us pledge that we will protect it at all costs.”
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday appealed to the citizens to protect the values of the Constitution and congratulated it on the 75th anniversary of the Constitution.
Constitution Day is celebrated every year on 26 November to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. On this day in 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution, which came into force on January 26, 1950.
