Rahul Gandhi’s constitutional right to be careful, what is the government trying to hide: Supriya Srinet

New Delhi, December 3 (IANS). Politics has heated up regarding Congress leader Rahul Gandhi being careful. Regarding this, Congress leader Supriya Shrinet said that it is Rahul Gandhi’s constitutional right to be safe.

He said that if the UP Police tries to stop them, it will be assumed that they definitely want to hide something. Earlier also he had tried to stop political people. After all, why is this effort being made? Why are political people not being allowed to go? What are you trying to hide? Five youths have been murdered? Some policemen have been injured there.

Doesn’t Rahul Gandhi have the right to go there and appeal for peace and console the people, meet the bereaved families, what problem can anyone have in this?

He said that UP Police used to stop people from going to Hathras, we all saw what happened there? She was stopped from going to Lakhimpur, there was a massacre of farmers there. She was prevented from going to Unnao, where Kuldeep Singh Sengar was found guilty in the rape case. After all, what does the UP Police want to hide?

On the statement given by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar in the Lok Sabha, he said that it is better late than never. He accepted what Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and all of us were continuously saying. His former MP was saying that China had encroached. He was sitting quietly, it was not making any difference to him, but now he had to rub his nose and accept that China had encroached. The reality is that this country, our army, our borders, we all are bearing the brunt of PM Narendra Modi’s lie. China cites lies and says that we have not entered, but today Jaishankar admitted that China has encroached there.
