Wayanad, November 12 (IANS). Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday said his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and he have taken it as a mission to make Wayanad a top destination in Kerala. Rahul Gandhi also posted a video of his experience on Kerala’s longest ‘zipline’ in Wayanad district.
Rahul Gandhi shared a video on his YouTube account on Tuesday. In this, he is seen talking to the employees of an ‘Adventure Park’ in Wayanad along with Priyanka Gandhi.
Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi said that during Priyanka Gandhi’s campaign in Wayanad, I got a chance to connect with the local people. Despite recent challenges, they have not given up.
He further said that wonderful attractions have been created here. South India’s largest giant swing, a drop tower and an exciting zipline. All this is to show visitors that Wayanad is as wonderful and safe a destination as ever. I also experienced the zipline myself and loved it.
At the same time, Congress shared pictures of Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi from swing to thrilling zipline on social media platform X. “Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi candidly interacted with some locals in Wayanad, whose stories of perseverance deeply inspired them,” the Congress said.
Further adding, “From South India’s largest swing to thrilling ziplines, the people of Wayanad have created incredible tourism and adventure destinations. Despite their difficulties, they continue to work hard to revive the local economy. Wayanad symbolizes the best of India. Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi have taken up the mission of making it a top destination in Kerala.”
