Raids were conducted at the ACB commissioner’s premises in Rajasthan, causing a stir, know what was found

Pali : The ACB Jalore team raided the official residence of Rajasthan’s Sanchore Municipal Council Commissioner Yogesh Acharya on Friday morning. In addition to the commissioner’s official residence, the ACB Jalore team got his office opened and searched it. Several files were seized. Cash worth more than Rs 19 lakh was recovered from the commissioner at Sanchore. On the instructions of the ACB Headquarters, various ACB teams carried out the action on Friday. Under which, in the case of acquiring assets disproportionate to income registered against assistant administrative officer and acting commissioner Sanchore Municipal Council Yogesh Acharya, raids were conducted and search operations were conducted at 9 different locations of the accused in Sanchore, Sumerpur, Pali, Jodhpur, Jaipur.

ACB Director General Dr. Ravi Prakash Mehrada said that a confidential complaint was received. In which Yogesh Acharya has acquired assets disproportionate to his income through corruption in his and his family’s name. Whose market value is more than crores of rupees. Jodhpur Rural/Intelligence Branch of ACB did a confidential verification of the complaint. A case was registered in the matter of acquiring assets disproportionate to income. After the search warrant from the competent court, under the supervision of Deputy Inspector General of Police Harendra Mahawar of ACB Jodhpur, under the leadership of ASP Sandeep Saraswat of Jaipur, ACB’s Special Investigation Unit, along with various teams of ACB, early in the morning, search action was taken at 9 different locations of the accused in Sanchore, Sumerpur-Pali, Jodhpur, Jaipur.

19 lakh cash, luxury cars and jewelry recovered

19 lakh rupees in cash was recovered from Commissioner Yogesh Acharya’s residence in Sanchore. During raids at various places, documents of 7 residential/commercial plots, 4 luxury vehicles, more than 40 expensive branded watches, a gold plated mobile phone and gold-silver jewellery were recovered. Apart from this, 1 bank locker and several bank accounts were recovered. According to the Bureau’s preliminary assessment, First Information Report and documents found so far, accused Yogesh Acharya is estimated to have acquired several assets worth crores of rupees, which is proportionately more than his legitimate income. Under the direction of ACB’s Additional Director General Smita Shrivastava, various teams of ACB are continuing the search operation at the accused’s hideouts. The action was ongoing till the time of writing the news.
