Rain becomes a disaster in Rajasthan, waterlogging problem in many places, know the latest update

Rajasthan : Monsoon has again taken a turn in Rajasthan. The speed of monsoon had slowed down since last one day. But now it has become active again. The capital Jaipur has received the highest rainfall of the season. The rain which started late on Wednesday night continued till Thursday morning. According to the Meteorological Department, 133 mm i.e. four inches of rain has been recorded in Jaipur till 5:30 am. Rain is expected in the northern and eastern parts of the state during the next 48 hours.

Monsoon active in Rajasthan

Director of Meteorological Center Radheshyam Sharma said that currently the monsoon trough line is passing through Ganganagar, Rohtak. Apart from this, a cyclonic wind area is formed over north-eastern Rajasthan. A cyclonic wind area is also formed at the middle level in Punjab and surrounding areas. Due to the effect of the system, heavy to very heavy rains have been recorded in many districts of north-eastern Rajasthan i.e. Bharatpur division, Jaipur division and Shekhawati region in the last 24 hours.

Monsoon will be active from August 3

With the monsoon becoming active from August 2 in eastern Rajasthan and August 3 in western Rajasthan, rain activities are likely to intensify. During this period, moderate to heavy rains are likely in some parts of eastern Rajasthan and heavy rains at some places. This series of rains is going to continue till August 6. According to IMD, there is a possibility of rain with thunder in some parts of Bikaner division. Talking about the capital Jaipur, there is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning along with generally cloudy weather on August 2. Due to the effect of the above system, there is a strong possibility of monsoon remaining active in some parts of the state in the coming days. There is a strong possibility of light to moderate rains with heavy to very heavy rains at some places in most parts of Kota, Udaipur, Jaipur, Ajmer and Bharatpur divisions of eastern Rajasthan in the coming days.
