Rain water harvesting system will be built in Alwar Ward 4, will get relief from water crisis.

Alwar : The initiative to free Alwar city from water crisis has started from ward number four. The city’s first rain water harvesting system is going to be installed in this ward. This system will be ready before the rains. It is believed that more than 15 lakh liters of water will go into the ground through one rain. Its effect will be visible in 6 months. After one year of the launch of this system, the water crisis in the ward will reduce to a great extent. Apart from some government departments of the city, rain water harvesting systems are installed in big private commercial complexes, but most of them are in poor condition. Water is not able to completely seep into the ground. Apart from correcting these, the administration also passed the proposal to install rain water harvesting in populated areas. Ward number 4 was selected. Because a pond already exists there. Preparations are on to send the water from this pond of about 2 acres to the ground.

Water crisis will end in the ward: Municipal Corporation has been chosen as the executing institution. It will cost about Rs 1.5 crore to install this system, which will be ready before the rains. It is being told that if this system works completely then the water crisis of the entire ward will be solved. Former councilor Jyoti Jatav says this is a good initiative. There is water crisis in the ward. The authorities were asked several times to solve this problem. The work on rainwater harvesting system had started, but is currently closed due to Grape 4.
