Rain wreaked havoc in Rajasthan, 4 children got burnt due to lightning, 1 died

Jaipur : The entry of monsoon in Rajasthan has brought relief as well as trouble for the people. On one hand, while there is relief from the humid heat, on the other hand, waterlogging has increased the problems of the people. There have also been reports of lightning at some places, due to which people are dying. On Tuesday morning, a similar news has come from Sanwada and Nayawas Khalsa of Rohida police station area of ​​Sirohi district, where a child died due to lightning, while three children were burnt. The condition of one child remains critical at this time.

People told that in Rohida and nearby rural areas, it was raining heavily and lightly. During this time, lightning struck along with the rain, in which Ajit (14) son of Narayan Bhil, a resident of Nayavas Khalsa, died. Rakesh and Dita, residents of Nayavas Khalsa and Kalu, resident of Bhula Holi Bor, were burnt due to lightning. After the incident, there was chaos on the spot. All the villagers were hurriedly brought to Rohida Hospital for first aid, where Kalu’s condition was critical and he was referred to Sirohi Hospital with the help of 108 ambulance for further treatment.

On receiving information about the incident, Rohida police station officer Jitendra Singh Devda along with police force reached the spot and the police took the body into custody and kept it in the mortuary of Rohida hospital. Rohida police station officer Jitendra Singh said that one child died due to lightning, while three children got burnt, out of which two were sent home after first aid. One was referred to Sirohi as his condition was critical. The body of the deceased child has been kept in the mortuary, whose body will be handed over to the family after post-mortem on Tuesday.
