Bundi : Due to the overflow of Naval Sagar, water came into the city at a high speed. The situation of Balchand Pada became critical. Ganesh ji of Nag Pans, Brahmandeshwar Gaushala Bohra Kund, Abhaynath Mahadev, Manshapurna Ganesh temple got submerged. Cars and bikes got swept away in the strong flow of water in Nagdi market. A young man also started flowing in the water. But, people saved him.
Administration issued toll free number
The water of Naval Sagar has reached from Nagdi Bazaar to Chaumukha Bazaar, Sadar Bazaar, Meera area of the city. Water is flowing on the roads, due to which the connectivity with the city has been cut off. Due to the rain, the police and administration are on alert in the entire district. The administration has issued a toll free number 07472444177 for the people stranded in the rain.
Due to the continuous rain in Bundi, District Collector Akshay Godara has declared a holiday on August 5 in all government and private schools of the district. But, teachers will remain present in the school. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in Barmer. Barmer District Collector has declared a holiday in all schools up to 12th standard. The general public has been advised to take precautions. Kekri District Collector Shweta Chauhan has declared a holiday in all schools till August 5 and 6. Schools will also remain closed for two days in Ajmer. Ajmer District Collector Dr. Bharti Dixit has issued the order.
Jait Sagar and Nawal Sagar lakes are in spate
Due to overflow of Naval Sagar lake, many shops in Nagdi market got flooded. About half a dozen rivers are in spate. Water started flowing over many culverts, due to which traffic got disrupted. Contact with the district headquarters has been completely cut off.

The gates of Jait Sagar Lake and Naval Sagar Lake have been opened. Water is flowing like rivers on the roads. Roads and shops are filled with 3 to 4 feet of water. About 5 colonies are flooded. Water is flowing like rivers on the roads of Nagdi Bazaar, Bahadur Singh Circle, Meera Gate, Binanwa Road and Devpura etc. areas of the city.
