Rain wreaked havoc in the capital, corpses started flowing from the cemetery, many houses were damaged

Jaipur : A case of dam breaking due to heavy rains and bodies flowing out of graveyards has come to light in Jaipur. Due to the flood of water after heavy rains on Sunday night, many bodies started flowing out of the graves in the strong current. Everyone was terrified seeing this scene early in the morning. Then the local people acted wisely and stopped the bodies from flowing in the drain with the help of ropes and buried them back in the grave.

Local resident A.J. Khan said that the wall of Noor’s dam broke due to heavy rains in Khoh Nagorian area on Monday morning at around 9 am. The water of the dam entered the graveyard behind the dargah. The graves were filled with water and the bodies inside came out. Four bodies were washed away with the flow. The local people stopped them with the help of ropes and buried them again.

Many houses were also damaged

Due to the strong current, about half a dozen houses in the surrounding areas including Golden City have been damaged. Locals said that some animals and vehicles have also been swept away by the current. Local residents allege that the dam walls were very old. In such a situation, there was a fear that the dam could break, complaints about which were made to the officials several times. But no one paid attention.
