Rain wreaks havoc in Rajasthan, flood-like situation here, normal life disrupted

Bundi : Heavy rains are continuing in Rajasthan. Heavy rains have caused disaster in many parts. At the same time, the Meteorological Center Jaipur has issued orange and yellow alerts for many districts. Today and tomorrow, moderate to heavy rains and sometimes heavy and sometimes very heavy rains are expected in some parts of Udaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions. At the same time, clouds have also rained heavily in Hadoti in the past few days, due to which flood-like conditions have arisen in Bundi.

Due to continuous rain for more than 12 hours in Bundi, life has been completely disrupted. From people’s houses to roads and from roads to shops, many areas have been badly submerged. Due to the inflow of water in Bundi’s Naval Sagar and Jet Sagar ponds, the gates were opened to drain out the water. Due to heavy rains, water has entered the houses in residential areas. In Jawahar Nagar and Mahavir Colony, from the road to the inside of the house, water is filled up to 2 feet and sometimes up to 4 feet. The situation has worsened to such an extent that people have now taken shelter on the roof and people standing on the roofs are watching this entire scene. At the same time, due to the strong flow in the city late at night, the vehicles parked on the road also moved like straws, the video of which is also going viral on social media.

In the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain with thundershowers occurred at many places in the state and heavy rain occurred at some places in Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jalore, Sirohi, Dungarpur and Ajmer. The highest rainfall in eastern Rajasthan was recorded in Arai (Ajmer) at 102 mm and in Gudamalani (Barmer) in western Rajasthan at 89 mm. The highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded at 34.4 degrees in Sri Ganganagar and the highest minimum temperature was also recorded at 28.7 degrees in Sri Ganganagar.
