The Meteorological Department has issued yellow alert in 17 districts. Let us tell you that due to active Western Disturbance, it is raining across the state. In such a situation, due to rain even after the departure of monsoon, winter has knocked in Rajasthan before Diwali. Earlier on Sunday, light to heavy rain occurred in some districts. The highest rainfall of 5.5 inches (119 mm) was recorded in Dabok (Udaipur). Here, rain continued in Udaipur also on Sunday. Here, day temperature is increasing in many districts of the state. 38.2 degree mercury was recorded in Ganganagar.
Meteorological department told – why is it raining?
Meteorological Center Director Radheshyam Sharma said that due to the influence of easterly winds on October 13-14, there will be light thundershowers at isolated places in Jodhpur, Udaipur, Kota, Ajmer, Bharatpur and Jaipur divisions and surrounding areas of southern and south-eastern Rajasthan. There is a possibility of moderate rain. At the same time, thunderstorm and rain activities are likely to continue in some parts of Udaipur Kota division on October 15 also.
Rain alert in these districts today
The Meteorological Department has today issued a yellow alert for rain in 17 districts of the state. According to the Meteorological Department, today there is a possibility of rain in Ajmer, Banswara, Baran, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Karauli, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sirohi, Tonk and Udaipur. Apart from this, there will be rain in Banswara, Baran, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Kota, Pratapgarh and Udaipur on October 15.
