Jaipur : Every year the festival of Dhanteras is celebrated on the Trayodashi date of Krishna Paksha of Kartik month. This year it will be celebrated on 29 October. It is also called Troyadashi or Dhanvantari Jayanti. The five-day festival of Diwali begins from this day. On Dhanteras, Kuber, the god of wealth, and Dhanvantari are worshiped with full rituals.
Today is the birthday of the country’s first Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. This day is celebrated as National Unity Day. Today, ‘Run for Unity’ was organized in Jaipur on this occasion. CM said that the Statue of Unity is not just a statue, it binds our country in the thread of unity. I would like to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Union Home Minister for fulfilling Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s dream of removing Article 370.
Apart from this, Rajasthan Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said on this occasion that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is a symbol of integrity and unity of India. Following his path and under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is becoming ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’, ‘Self-reliant India’. He said that take a pledge today that we will respect each other, support each other and promote unity.
