Jaipur : Rajasthan government is giving financial assistance to those poor families who cannot afford the marriage of their daughters. Under the Chief Minister Kanyadan Yojana of the state government, financial assistance of Rs 31 thousand to Rs 51 thousand is given to the poor family for the marriage of daughters. The objective of this scheme is that no daughter’s marriage should be hindered due to financial difficulties. Chief Minister Kanyadan Yojana was earlier known as Sahayog and Uphaar Yojana, which was changed in 2020. In this scheme, 31 thousand rupees are given by the government as Hathleva amount. At the same time, 10th pass girl is given Rs 10 thousand as incentive amount in addition to Hathleva amount. That is, a 10th pass girl gets a total of 41 thousand rupees. Whereas a graduate pass girl gets an incentive amount of Rs 20 thousand and a Hathleva amount of Rs 31 thousand, meaning a total of 51 thousand rupees.

Required Eligibility

Must be a resident of Rajasthan.
Be a BPL card, Aastha card, Antyodaya card holder or a widow.
The girl should be above 18 years of age.
The annual income of the family should not exceed Rs 50 thousand.
