Rajasthan government sent 45 lakh rupees to the accounts of 93 girl students, their faces lit up

Jaipur : Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar on Friday transferred funds to the accounts of eligible girls under the Mukhyamantri Hamari Beti Yojana and Indira Priyadarshini Puraskar Yojana. Under the scheme, in the second phase, a total of Rs 45 lakh 1585 was transferred to the bank accounts of 93 girls through DBT.

Congratulations to the beneficiary students

From his official residence in Jaipur, the Education Minister sent an amount of Rs. 7 lakh 91 thousand 585 to 22 girls of Mukhyamantri Hamari Beti Yojana and Rs. 37 lakh 10000 to the bank accounts of 71 girls of the second phase of Indira Priyadarshini Puraskar Yojana. On this occasion, Education Minister Madan Dilawar congratulated the beneficiary students of the scheme. Wishing everyone a bright future, he said that the government is committed to girl education. We would always want girls to reach the heights of success.

Who becomes eligible for the scheme?

On this occasion, Joint Secretary of Education Department Manish Goyal said that under Mukhyamantri Hamari Beti Yojana, every year, girls selected by the Foundation are given financial assistance up to Rs. 1,15,000 if they are studying in class 11 and 12 vocational education/training. Also, under Indira Priyadarshini Puraskar Yojana, there is a provision to give Rs. 40,000, Rs. 75,000 and Rs. 1 lakh respectively along with certificates to the top girls of class 8, class 10 and class 12 board exams. In addition to the prize money, eligible girls of class 12 are also given a scooty as a reward.
