Jaipur : The work of Dravyavati river in the capital Jaipur will be done in a phased manner. In 45 days, the appearance of Dravyavati river will be seen changed. This claim has been made by Vaibhav Galaria, Principal Secretary of Urban Development Department. He visited the Dravyavati river project on Friday. After inspection, he instructed the officials of JDA and Tata Projects to prepare an action plan and clean the river in 45 days. After inspecting the Dravyavati river, he visited the coaching hub of Housing Board and from there also went to Jaipur Exhibition Convention Center (JECC). He started the tour from Bird Park located at Panipech. After this, he reached Landscape Park and finally Botanical Park located on Tonk Road.
These works will be done on priority basis
-Arrangements will be made to ensure that dirt does not enter the river along with rainwater in the coming monsoon.
-Stop sewerage from falling into the river until 20 MMD STP is constructed at Sushilpura culvert.
– Keep the greenery, walk-ways and street lights in good condition, so that people come to visit the river bank.
