Hanumangarh : Sangaria Police has found two minor sisters who went missing while returning home from school in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan after 40 days. Both are 12 years and 14 years old. They went missing from their village Nukera on 20th July, after which the family filed a missing person report in the police station. After investigating, the police has now recovered them from Adampur in Haryana. Sangaria DSP Karan Singh said that both the sisters are currently undergoing treatment in the district hospital.
Dalit community sits on dharna over two demands
There is anger in the Dalit community about this incident and they are accusing the police of negligence. The Dalit community says that the girls have been gang-raped and the police is being negligent in the matter. The Dalit community has demanded the removal of Sangaria police station officer Dharampal Shekhawat and the arrest of the accused. They have clearly said that the protest of the people of the community will continue until their demands are met. Politics has also started heating up in Rajasthan regarding this matter. RLP supremo and PCC chief have also expressed strong anger over this incident and demanded action from the Bhajanlal government.

Rajasthan Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara posted on Instagram and wrote, ‘My heart is filled with pain and anger at the horrific news of two minor sisters of Nayak community being kidnapped from Nukera village of Hanumangarh and gangraped for about 40 days. Both the girls are admitted in the hospital. I pray to God for their speedy recovery. The government should provide justice to these daughters and take strict action against the criminals.’

‘Beniwal demanded security and financial assistance’
Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal tagged the Chief Minister’s Office and Rajasthan Police on x and wrote in his post, ‘The incident of kidnapping two minor sisters of Nayak community from their home and gang-raping them at different places in Nukera village of Sangaria tehsil of Hanumangarh district is a matter of shame for humanity. According to the information received from the local people, the condition of a girl is critical, who is undergoing treatment in the hospital. Regarding this matter, I have talked to the Director General of Rajasthan Police and Hanumangarh SP over the phone regarding taking strict legal action against the accused involved in the case. The Rajasthan government should take immediate necessary steps to provide proper security to the victim’s family, high-level treatment to the victim and financial package in the form of assistance with immediate effect.’
