Ajmer : A case of gang rape has come to light where the accused showed acquaintance and sympathy with a student who had come to the city in search of employment and lured her into staying with him. The student who escaped from the clutches of the accused left the city, but the accused kept threatening her not to complain to the police. The victim kept wandering due to fear of the accused and in search of work. She narrated her ordeal to ASP (City) Durg Singh Rajpurohit on Wednesday afternoon. On the orders of Rajpurohit, Christianganj police station registered a case of gang rape and started investigation.
According to the police, the victim who came to Ajmer in search of employment told that she is a BA second year student. Due to financial constraints in the family, she came in search of work on 26 January. She got a housekeeping job in a hotel located on Foysagar Road. She used to get 10 thousand rupees per month, but she left the job because the atmosphere of the hotel was not good. On 12 June, she met Girdhari Chaudhary, who lives near her village. He sympathized with her and asked her to stay with him until she gets a new job. Girdhari said that there is a flat in the residency located on Lohagal Road. There are two vacant rooms in it. He will make her stay in the vacant room. Believing him, she went to the flat. There he introduced her to a youth named Rahul Chaudhary, Rajveer and Hemu. He said that they all live together. She stayed in his flat on 12 June.

The victim said that the accused had promised to give her a separate room, but kept her in the same room on June 12. Then on the night of June 15, Rahul, Girdhari Chaudhary and his companions raped her. The accused held her hostage in the room. They did not allow her to go out of the room. She lied to them and went to Delhi.
Threats to kill
The victim told in the report that after returning from Delhi, she started working in a restaurant in the city. The accused started calling her from different numbers and threatening her. They threatened to kidnap her and kill her if she complained to the police. They started harassing her by sending voice messages on social media. She alleged that the accused are involved in prostitution in the city. They are also pressurizing her to join their dirty business. Due to the criminal nature of the accused, she could not register a case earlier. The clothes and educational documents of the victim are in the possession of the accused.
