Jaipur : A new revelation has been made in the case of extortion from Ajmer High Security Jail. Jagan Gurjar, a dacoit who had left the ravines of Chambal, was also in contact with the criminals lodged in Ajmer jail. He was supplying weapons to the new gangs emerging in Shekhawati. Police have arrested Jagan on charges of supplying weapons to the gang that carried out the Raju Tehat murder case of Sikar. In such a situation, the role of the senior officials of Ajmer Jail is also suspicious, which is being investigated at a high level. Apart from Jagan, the police have also arrested a criminal Ramniwas. DCP West Amit Kumar said that Jagan Gurjar, a resident of Dholpur, was in contact with Vikram Gurjar, Mukesh Haritwal, Sangram Singh and Dayal lodged in Ajmer High Security Jail. He was providing them weapons for extortion, threats and firing. Police had arrested Sonu Singh, a resident of Banetha, with weapons two days ago.
During interrogation, it was found that he was planning firing. Jagan had given the weapons to Sonu on Vikram’s instructions. Jagan is being questioned about the weapons. Police have recovered a keypad mobile from Ramnivas, which was to be taken to the jail. 30 thousand rupees have also been found, with which he was going to buy weapons. It is worth mentioning that in an old case, Chitrakoot police had taken three criminals from Ajmer High Security Jail, Vikram of Khandela, Mukesh Jat of Amarsar and Kuldeep Chaudhary of Neem Ka Thana on production warrant last week. After interrogating them, Sonu Singh, Lokesh Sahu alias Modi, Girdhari Maan, Hansraj Gurjar, Jai Singh and Kuldeep Vaishnav were arrested on Monday. Jagan’s name came up during cross interrogation. After that Jagan was arrested.
Vikram Gurjar was busy preparing his own gang from the jail itself
Police investigation also revealed that Vikram Gurjar earlier used to get work done on the instructions of gangster Rohit Godara, but while in jail, he was busy preparing a new gang on his own. Therefore, with the help of his henchmen sitting outside, he contacted Jagan and was collecting weapons. The gang had made a list of about half a dozen mines and liquor traders of Shekhawati region, on whom they were going to fire soon.
Police alert… investigating the role of jail workers and officers
Commissioner Biju George Joseph said that as soon as it came to light that the criminals lodged in the high security jail were in contact with Jagan, a high level investigation was started. Additional Commissioner Kailash Bishnoi is monitoring. The role of jail personnel is also being investigated. Dacoit Jagan had gone to meet his brother Paan Singh lodged in Ajmer High Security Jail. He was caught in Bindayaka while returning. During interrogation, inputs were received that Jagan had supplied weapons in the firing incidents that took place around Jaipur.
