Jaipur : Rajasthan’s Anti Gangster Task Force Police Headquarters team has succeeded in arresting Murarilal Sharma, wanted accused for 12 years in police station Kaithun, district Kota rural, from Barsana area of Govardhan district Mathura in the case of kidnapping and robbery. SP Kota rural has announced a reward of Rs 25 thousand on the arrested accused.

Additional Director General of Police Anti Gangster Task Force and Crime Dinesh MN said that under the direction of DIG Yogesh Yadav, teams have been sent from the Police Headquarters to different cities of the state to collect intelligence about gangsters, wanted, rewarded and criminals involved in criminal activities.

ADG Dinesh MN said that the team received information that Murari Lal, an accused wanted in Kota Rural’s Kaithun police station for 12 years, is absconding in Barsana area. He will come to Radha Rani temple on Sunday. On this information, the team laid siege outside Radha Rani temple in Barsana and arrested the accused Murari Lal Sharma. He was brought to Kaman police station and handed over to the team of cyber cell in-charge ASI Bhupendra Singh.

IPS MN told that on 18 October 2012, farmer Babulal Gurjar, resident of Khushalipura police station Kanwas, came from his village to sell coriander in Bhamashah Mandi Kota. On his return, he was returning with his tractor after filling diesel in a drum. People sitting in a Xylo car coming from behind stopped him and forcibly made him sit in their car and kidnapped him, saying that he will come back after causing an accident. Two of the boys took the farmer’s tractor and went towards Kota. The rest of the miscreants beat up the farmer on the way and snatched his mobile and Rs 10,500 kept with him and escaped by tying him to a pillar of a school in Javra village near Rawatbhata.
Six accused were arrested and sent to jail
In this case, Kaithun police has arrested six accused and sent them to jail. Murari Lal Sharma, the buyer of the looted tractor, was absconding since the incident. In search of him, the local police raided several possible places. When he could not be caught even after a long time, a reward of 25 thousand was announced on him by SP Kota Rural in April 2024. This gang has committed such crimes many times.
